Responsibilities
The Finance Director is responsible for managing the finance and accounting operations of the company. The Finance Director oversees financial planning, analysis, compliance and reporting, and plays a crucial role in strategic decision-making, acting as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive.

David has extensive knowledge of PDG and the aviation sector having started his career with PDG as an accounts assistant. He now holds the position of Finance Director, having attained his Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAS, and an MA (Hons) in Business & Accounting from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to rejoining PDG in 2018, David held roles at Johnston Carmichael, Scotland’s largest firm of independent Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, as well as at Saffery, a UK Top 20 accountancy firm.
