Previously, this 4-axis gyro stabilised camera system was fitted with a zoom TV camera, radiometric thermal camera and a Canon 14 mega-pixel still image camera but when it returns from Sweden next week it will be equipped with a UViRCO corona camera making it a quad-sensor system.
This new corona sensor features the latest noise reduction system to reduce the effects of ambient and natural occurring corona whilst remaining highly sensitive to pinpointing genuine sources of corona discharge.
