PDG Helicopters have been very busy over the Christmas and New Year working for the Electricity companies providing them with emergency power line inspections following the high winds and storms.

The weather caused extensive damage to the power networks with trees falling onto the lines leaving homes and businesses without power.

Our helicopters were called into action to fly power engineers along the lines to quickly and efficiently locate the damage and faults. Engineers were then despatched to fix the faults and restore power.
