PDG Aviation Services officially acquired Team UAV, a leading provider of drone inspection, survey, response, and data capture services, in April 2025.  They are renowned for their professionalism and dedication to improving safety, mitigating risk, improving operations and reducing operating costs for our clients by using new technology.

Team UAV are currently recruiting for an Operations Co-ordinator to join their busy team at their operating base in Bromsgrove.  This will be a permanent, full-time role based on a 42.5‑hour contract, working from 08:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday.

As an Operations Co-ordinator you would play a central role to ensure Team UAV projects are delivered efficiently by assigning the right personnel to the right task at the right time.  The role will require close collaboration with clients, the technical team, operations, and other internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

 General Administrative Support

  • Manage general administrative tasks to support operational requirements.
  • Coordinate ordering of equipment and supplies as necessary.
  • Arrange hire vehicles, travel, and accommodation in line with operational requirements.
  • Arrange fleet vehicle servicing and maintenance as appropriate to ensure compliance.

Operational Support

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients on scheduling, timelines, and availability.
  • Work directly with the Technical Lead to understand project scope, priorities, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with Operations and other departments as necessary.
  • Plan and schedule drone pilots, technicians, surveyors, and other personnel across multiple concurrent projects, in line with specific operational requirements.
  • Proactively manage operational changes due to weather, access constraints, or client requirements to ensure seamless project coordination.
  • Support project delivery by ensuring client expectations are managed effectively with clear communication of any project changes or updates.
  • Continuously improve scheduling processes and resource utilisation.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling systems, records, and reporting.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Proven experience in personnel scheduling or resource planning within operational environments (e.g. engineering, surveying, inspection, aviation or similar).
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent reliability and timekeeping
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Full UK driving licence

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience of UAV / Drone, surveying or inspection operations.
  • Understanding of UAV operations and regulatory considerations.
  • Previous experience working with scheduling or resource management tools/software.
