We are currently recruiting for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our Engineering Department located at our Inverness Base.

This role is a permanent full-time role, based on a 35-hour contract.  The working hours are predominantly Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30; however, flexibility is required to cover operational requirements which will include occasional weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support line and base maintenance activities at any PDG base and, when occasionally required, at off-site locations.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations, industry best practice, and company authorisations, including certification of completed work within authorised scope.
  • Complete all maintenance activities safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with PDG policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure aircraft defects are accurately identified, documented, and recorded following debrief with operational crew members.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to engineering and support personnel as required.
  • Ensure the correct use, care, and maintenance of tooling and support equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Carry out aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes, and cleaning activities in support of operational requirements.
  • Provide general engineering and operational support to the Engineering Department and wider business as required.
