As part of a planned leadership transition, Jason Keith, who joined PDG in 2023 as Commercial Director, has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April 2026. Shaun Strain, who has held the role since 2023, will remain part of the senior leadership team as Group Executive Director and Engineering Director to support the transition.
Under Shaun’s leadership, PDG has delivered strong growth. The business has strengthened its operational capability, deepened customer relationships and expanded its services, most recently with the acquisition of Team UAV in April 2025, which expanded the Group’s aerial survey and inspection capabilities across the UK and Ireland. PDG is now well positioned to build on these strong foundations and continue its growth as a leading provider of aerial solutions in support of critical infrastructure.
Jason brings more than 30 years’ experience across major multi-national contractors and SMEs, including senior roles at Wood Group. Since joining PDG, he has led the company’s commercial activities, strengthening customer relationships and positioning the business for its next phase of growth.
Shaun will continue to work closely with Jason, supporting him in his new role and maintaining the strong relationships he has built across the business. For customers and partners, it is business as usual. PDG’s commitment to delivering safe, reliable and high-quality operational support remains unchanged, backed by the same experienced leadership and operational teams.
